Con trai thế hệ thứ 1 của gia tộc lớn, là con trai thứ 3 của Kim Tae Jin. Lúc đầu Kim Young Min chỉ có mơ ước làm giáo sư đại học nhưng sau đó rơi vào cuộc hôn nhân sắp đặt với Yoon Na Young. Dù có khả năng phản đối quyết định của ba mình và sống cuộc sống mà anh muốn nhưng anh không bỏ đi.
